Here is our latest batch of conceptual illustrations and photographs of the Copeland Building in Minden. The Copeland Building as it now stands was built in the early 1970s, but the site was a lumber yard dating back to 1908. Established by the LeClaire family, the lumber yard was one of Minden's first businesses. The current Copeland Building is approximately 20,000 square feet and features gorgeous large arching wood beams throughout. The intersection of 1st Street and Hwy 395 can be thought of as the gateway to historic Minden. It will come as a complete surprise to you that we here at CVAC think that a thriving performance theater would serve as the perfect anchor to the downtown district.

We are seeking volunteers to support cultural activities in the valley and to help in the creation of a performing and visual arts center. There are many ways you can help, find out how.
