Carson Valley Arts Council
Carson Valley Arts Council (CVAC) presents artists Ronnie Eden and Pam Brekas at the Copeland Gallery in Minden. Their combined show runs November 1 through December 28, 2023.
Artists Ronnie Eden and Pam Brekas have been friends and cohorts in painting since they first met in 2014. Both have art and public school teaching backgrounds, approaching painting in unorthodox ways.
Their love for abstraction, textures, collage, and color make a wonderful blend in their paintings. Award winning artists, they each tackle work differently yet have a commonality in concept.
Originally from Australia, Ronnie’s work has more representational images: horses, dogs, and more. Pam’s ’mages are more textural. East Fork Gallery in Gardnerville and Artsy Fartsy in Carson City represent these artists. Both are involved in local shows and participate in a national project called Artists in Cellophane through Art-o-Mat.
The exhibit can be viewed Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. Both Pam’s and Ronnie’s work will be available for purchase.
CVAC will host an artist’s reception for Pam and Ronnie on Saturday, November 4, from 1 pm to 3 pm. Come and meet Ronnie and Pam.
