Carson Valley Arts Council (CVAC) presents photographer John Warden at the Copeland Gallery in Minden from September 6 through October 23, 2023.
John has lived in the California Sierra Nevada foothills for over 25 years and in 2004 moved to the Eastern Sierra side, now residing in Carson City, Nevada. He has a passion for the outdoors and when he can, spends hours exploring the Sierra back country and the deserts of Nevada. Photography is a way he can share his experiences with the world. No matter where he goes, the eye of the lens documents that experience.
John’s work features photographs of Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe along with some of his “Nevada Rock Art.”
John is a self-taught photographer with a sincere passion for unique and inspiring spaces reflecting the natural beauty of Northern Nevada’s landscapes.
The exhibit can be viewed Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. John’s work will be available for purchase.
CVAC will host an artist’s reception for John on Saturday, September 9 from 1 until 3 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Come and meet John Warden.
